He was having yeast infections and losing hair from scratching. He was also gimpy and losing muscle tone. He is 10 1/2 years old. Real Letters SCOD 2015 Springsteen Gale | Dear Springtime, I give Skin & Coat Oil to my three dogs and one cat. It has done an amazing job on their coats, making their fur soft and they have been itch free. Since they've not been scratching, I got their flea comb out and they have not been bothered by fleas since using this product. I've been checking them every week and no fleas. I wanted to follow-up with a picture of my little dog Luke as he is the reason I bought your Skin & Coat Oil in the first place. He was just groomed yesterday and his groomer couldn't believe the difference from a few months ago. As you can see, his coat is nice and shiny, smooth and soft. I wish I had taken a before picture because at Luke's last grooming, we noticed that he had bald spots on his back due to chewing. His groomer also noticed that he was totally flea free even though I have not given him anything for fleas in the last three months. As you can imagine, my groomer had to know what I was using and I gladly shared so that he could use the Skin & Coat Oil on his dogs and share with his clients. Real Letters SCOD Bonia Donna | Dear Springtime, We've been using several of your products for ourselves and our dogs. The latest product I added this last year is the Skin & Coat Oil for our dogs. I have to say this is the first year my smallest dog, Mandy, a Yorkshire terrier and Dachshund mix with the Yorkie hair, has had the lushest and thickest coat for winter that I've ever seen on her. Maggie the Border Collie has a lovely, thick, shiny coat too and the Corgi mix, Molly, seems to be shedding less – she has thick fur with an undercoat and is always soft and silky. Actually, I'm jealous. Since I have been fighting with thinning hair for several years now, I've been tempted to try the Skin & Coat Oil for myself. Is it safe for human consumption? Real Letters Skin & Coat Oil 2015 Siegert Rick | Dear Springtime, The Skin & Coat Oil for dogs has solved a big problem that I haven't been able to solve, even with different vets. I have had Kipper, a rescue dog for 5 1/2 years now. When I adopted him, he had a bad habit of sucking on one of his rear paws. The foster home who kept him told me that this was an ongoing thing, and although their veterinarian couldn't find a solution, it didn't seem to be a big problem. For the five years, he and I lived with it. Our veterinarian couldn't find a solution either, other than several baths a week using an antibiotic shampoo and that didn't cure it. We moved across country, to a totally different environment, and it got much worse. Even with veterinarian help, his leg became discolored, and he was nibbling at it constantly. Then came Skin & Coat Oil. After three days, he was nibbling at his leg and hind quarters far less. Since then, it has stopped completely. He is no longer sucking at his rear paw, either. The coloring is almost completely normal. He is resting well, and not in constant irritation, so his temper is better, and he has more energy. I am attaching a recent photo of Kipper. He is 24 1/2 lbs. and on a strict diet. He would be much heavier if I let him eat all that he wanted. In fact, he was much heavier when I got him. He is half Pembroke Corgi, and half French Bulldog, and he is adorable. If Kipper had a Facebook account, he would have many friends, much more than I do. Real Letters SCOD 2015 White Kristin | Dear Springtime, Hi! I just wanted to send a note to provide some feedback on the new Skin & Coat Oil. I have a 2 1/2 year old rescue Vizsla, who, among other issues, has severe generalized anxiety and a fear of pretty much everything. We don't know the cause of his general high anxiety, but we (and our vet) suspected that part of his anxiety came from horrible skin infections he would get anytime we went outside. He would break out all over his belly from touching grass and be miserable for days after an outing. Prior to rescuing him, he was an outside dog in a grass-filled yard, so I imagine that has been going on for his whole life. Our vet recommended using a medicated shampoo to help clear up the infection after each outing, but one time we left it on too long. It burned him, making him extremely fearful of baths and even the smell of the shampoo. We felt so trapped with a dog that already had so many issues, and now we were scared for him to touch grass - even the grass in our own backyard! When I saw your email advertising the new Skin & Coat Oil, we decided to give it a try to see if it would help his skin at all. I am not exaggerating when I say that within DAYS of feeding Skin & Coat Oil, his skin COMPLETELY cleared up! We've been hiking and had many romps in the yard since then and NO outbreaks! Before placing my order, I called with a question and was pleasantly surprised to be connected to a "live" person within seconds. Most importantly, the product is excellent. A friend who is a dog trainer gave me our first bottle of Skin & Coat Oil when we got our rescue dog, Tashi, about 6 months ago. It made such a difference in her health. Tashi was always scratching and had a dull coat. Within a few days of getting a daily dose of Skin & Coat Oil, her fur gleamed, she was no longer scratching, and she just appeared more energetic overall. Tashi loved the taste - in fact, a sprinkle of the oil in her bowl encouraged her to eat her food. We had a 12-year-old Golden Retriever that had started getting stiff and didn't want to do stairs. Our friends that run a kennel/training center told us about Fresh Factors. Real Letters SCOD Morgan Carol | Dear Springtime, After my dog, Annie, had passed away, I was determined that no new dog would enter my life again (I am 72-years-old). Then, one day I discovered that my neighbor's 11-year-old chocolate Lab/Rottie cross, "Porkchop", had taken up residence in one of my sheds. Eventually I determined that Porkchop's owner was fine with that decision, despite Porkchop having the sweetest temperament ever. Porkchop was in very poor shape. He scratched constantly. He had a major case of dandruff, had several bald patches under his neck and along his underside, and smelled so bad I was reluctant to even touch him. I began feeding him a good quality dog food and did research on what might be causing his skin condition. My research led me to consider omega oils. A look at your catalog brought Skin & Coat Oil to my attention. I immediately ordered a supply for Porkchop. I also remembered having two jars of Longevity left after Annie's passing, so I started Porkchop on that as well. It has been about a month and Porkchop is a different dog. His (now) lovely coat is obvious and he now has that good dog smell. His dandruff is gone and his bald spots no longer look inflamed, and are filling in. His color has deepened to a dark brown and all of the light brown dry areas have disappeared. He has a nice "apartment" in my shed, which he truly enjoys. He greets me in the morning with leaps and jumps as if he were a young dog. I would also like to say that the Longevity and Fresh Factors have helped maintain his normal mobility.
