We struggled for months to get a fly infestation out of the trash cans in our home, and no matter how much breach or soap we used, they kept coming back! Luckily, we tried Springtime's Diatomaceous Earth. Within a week of sprinkling the DE in and around our trash cans, all of the flies and their larvae were gone! Since Springtime's Diatomaceous Earth is food grade, I felt secure knowing my cats would be safe if they accidentally ingested some.
