Fresh Foods Are Vital for Peak Health
Dr. Henning Karstrom, a Swedish expert in raw food therapy says, "Even though you get all 50 known nutrients in your diet (i.e., vitamins, minerals, essential amino acids, fatty acids, etc.) your health will still suffer unless you also include large quantities of uncooked and unprocessed foods."
Fresh, live foods are essential to health and well-being.
As Dr. Karstrom has stated above, diets including fresh, live foods are essential to health and well-being. Because they are enzyme active, and have not had their nutritional substances destroyed or altered by heat, fresh foods can be utilized by the body in such a way that is chemically balanced by nature.
These fresh foods affect positive results, giving tissues, bones, and organs the necessary vitamins and minerals to function at their highest levels, as well as healing and strengthening the body as a whole.
Cooked or processed foods, however, are often unbalanced. A good example is the typical dog food diet which is often processed for long term storage requirements. Because of this, many of the vitamins and minerals in these diets have been destroyed or altered. Live enzymes are totally lost.
While these foods may stimulate one body system for the good, they often harm another. Therefore, we have dogs who seem to age prematurely because while their requirements for sustenance are met, their nutrient needs for peak health are not.
Scientific study shows that dietary intake has a direct correlation with health.
Francis M. Pottenger, an American physician, provided an excellent illustration of these facts. While working on a study of the adrenal system of cats, he began to notice that the animals' dietary intake had a direct correlation with their health.
His study group consisted of a colony of 900 cats with which he experimented over a course of 10 years. Pottenger fed the first group pasteurized milk, cod liver oil and cooked meat. He reported that these cats had a high incidence of allergies, sickness, and skeletal deformities which were passed on from generation to generation. As each new litter was born he also noted that there were fewer and fewer kittens per litter, and each had a significant drop in birth weight.
The second group of cats Pottenger worked with was fed only unpasteurized milk and raw meat. The difference between these cats and the first group was remarkable. Healthy, strong, good skeletal structure, and hardly any trace of sickness or allergies characterized this second group, and like the first, they passed these traits on to their offspring.
Beware of diets consisting of 100% cooked or processed foods.
Clearly, we can see from this study the inherent danger of a diet consisting of 100% cooked or processed foods, as well as the incredible benefits that fresh, live, and nutritionally saturated foods can bring.

Springtime Fresh Factors for Dogs
Yeast Culture: 350 mg/tablet – for live enzyme activity
It is well known that yeasts are one of nature's best vitamin foods. Live enzymes in Fresh Factors' yeast culture are retained by a special process which stabilizes the yeast without destroying its "live" properties. The result is a more complete, more natural, and far more powerful product than is possible with common pasteurized yeast.
Desiccated Liver: 215 mg/tablet – for rich vitamin/mineral content and palatable flavor
Desiccated liver makes Fresh Factors super palatable for dogs. Liver is also extremely nutrient dense and provides many important vitamins and minerals – including organic iron.
Bee Pollen: 215 mg/tablet – for rejuvenating "live food" factors
Pollen contains greater concentrations of living enzymes than any other part of the plant. When pollen experiments were conducted with domestic animals, research found that calves showed significant weight gains when fed 40 gm of pollen in their daily diets. It also showed improved fertility in hens.
The pollen in Fresh Factors is the most nutritional part of the plant. It contains a full spectrum of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, fats, sugars, hormones, and protective antioxidants. Studies have shown that bee pollen can remain alive and viable for 20 years or more. (Click here for more information)
Chondroitin Sulfate: 250 mg/tablet, min. 90% pure – a natural body lubricant
Chondroitin sulfate is an essential element for healthy connective tissue. Muccopolysaccharides, also known as glycosaminoglycans (or GAGs) are produced in the cartilage to keep the joints moist. GAGs are produced by the body to protect joints from wear and tear. One of the causes of long term joint damage is inflammation, which attacks the lubricating nutrients. The major nutrient in this group is chondroitin sulfate, which is a natural body lubricant. Chondroitin sulfate is an essential element for healthy connective tissue and many studies have shown a significant absorption rate of oral chondroitin sulfate supplementation. (Click here for more information).
Kelp: 90 mg/tablet – a powerful mineralizer and natural source of trace elements
Kelp is a type of seaweed that can be eaten raw, but is usually dried, granulated, or ground into powder. Kelp is a rich source of vitamins, minerals, and trace elements.
Kelp is recommended as a daily supplement in the diet and can be used as a salt substitute. (Click here for more information)
Biotin: 700 mcg/tablet – for supporting healthy skin and coat
Biotin is a well known supporting nutrient for a healthy skin and coat.

Brewers yeast is an inexpensive but bitter byproduct of the brewing industry that has a good nutritional profile, but typically not nearly as high as Red Star® Nutritional Yeast which is grown for maximized food nutritional benefits.

Wine Yeast (Saccharomyces fermentati) is used in fermenting grapes into wine.
Squeaky no longer limps!
No More Limp for Boyfriend's Dog …
My boyfriend has a Maltese mix called Squeaky, who had a bad rear leg. He told me his vet said a lot of small dogs have a limp like that and it's just something they live with (Huh??!!). Since I've had previous experience with Fresh Factors, I told my boyfriend that I knew how to help his dog.
After about two months feeding Fresh Factors, there was an obvious difference. In the morning, the dog didn't run out of the bedroom holding his leg up every other step. The limp was only obvious at more random steps. After six months, the dog didn't hold the leg up anymore, and the leg was growing in size and strength. After a year, you can't tell the difference in size between the "bad" leg and the good one, and Squeaky had returned to normal mobility.
Thank you for making me look good to the boyfriend! ...and for making such an awesome product.

"We've taken to calling them miracle pills…"
My mom uses Fresh Factors for her 14-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog, Rusty. Before they started on this, they had taken him to the vet because he was moving slow and clearly in a lot of discomfort. Rusty had previously had a stroke and it left his head permanently cocked at an angle. The vet had recommended putting him down, but my mom and her husband decided to try a few things to see if they could improve his quality of life.
Well, they tried your Fresh Factors. Not long after, he was feeling better and moving around better, getting up off the floor easier, eating more. All in all, Rusty's health was noticeably improving.
Fast-forward a few months and here he is a photo of Rusty now. Hard to believe this is the same dog, now rolling around on the ground, tail wagging.
Since then, my sister has bought them for her dog and noticed his dry skin and itchiness reduced drastically. We've taken to calling them miracle pills, and I'm about to start my 5-year-old Greyhound on them because I want him to live a long and healthy life!
"I'd call their first Springtime Bully Sticks experience a success! We also love the Fresh Factors here! Copper has some hind leg issues that seemed to be getting worse. A friend recommended Fresh Factors so we started adding it to their breakfast and he has really improved! Nora (in front) didn't have any issues, but I'm sure Fresh Factors will help prevent some!
We will definitely be customers for life."

Springtime does wonders even for wildlife...
My name is Kara Chester and I am one of the Animal Caretakers here at the Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary in Red Lodge, MT. We have been using some of your products for over a year now. The products that we use every day are the Fresh Factors and Advanced Hip & Joint Chewables. We currently have two Coyotes, two Red Foxes, and one Grey Wolf and all of them are on Fresh Factors. Apache, our geriatric Grey Wolf, receives the Fresh Factors along with the Advanced Hip & Joint Chewables every day with her meal.
The wildlife surely does appreciate it. Thanks and have a great day!

A Happy & Healthy Banks!
Baby Banks all cuddled up with big brother Roman.
Two Week Turnaround for Rescue Puppy
I have a rescue Pitbull/Boxer mix that I got when he was only 4 weeks old and on death's door. The woman that I got him from was headed for the dumpster with this puppy in the box she was holding, saying he wasn't worth the time anyway. I couldn't let this happen, obviously, so I scooped him up and did my best to save his life that he hadn't even begun to live yet.
I work in my local animal rescue as a foster coordinator, so working with sick puppies is nothing out of the norm for me. I started treating this puppy for all of his severe problems. We almost lost him many times. My plan was to get him better and then find him a forever home through the rescue I work at, but he took so much work to keep alive that he ended up winning us over with his amazing spirit, infectious smile, and will to live! We named him Banks.
When I first started treating Banks, he had issues that were so bad that he had very thin, patchy hair, he could hardly walk, and his belly was so very bloated. I decided I had to give him some sort of supplement in addition to the food he was on to really set him up for success.
I started feeding Banks your Fresh Factors when he turned about 6 weeks old and could finally eat solid food. I started with the maximum dose because I knew he needed anything he could get to help him. In just two weeks, I couldn't believe the improvement! His hair started growing back and he finally maintained a normal physical well-being--no more rounded belly! To my amazement, we discovered Banks has a beautiful dark brindle coat, something we could never tell because his coat was in such bad shape when we first got him. He now had energy like never before and was finally starting to act like a real puppy. I cried tears of joy. Thank you for all you do,
Jill and "Banks" Chubbuck, Washington
