I wanted to let you know that Longevity took care of the tear staining on my four month old Bichon Frise puppy. I used to use the Angel Eyes product on my other Bichon, but because it has a low grade antibiotic in it, I didn't want to use it regularly because it would alter his flora and I was afraid he would end up with a yeast infection in his ears.
Thankfully, I talked to Trista and she recommended that I try Longevity. It took a few weeks, but when I cut off the stained fur the new fur was perfectly white. Longevity took care of his tearstains completely and he is so healthy. Even though I raw feed him, he still needed the Longevity to get rid of the tear staining. This is my 5 year old greyhound, Gilly Boy, after putting him on Longevity and a raw diet. I read that Longevity made their coat healthy and pretty so I thought I'd try it as his coat was kind of thin and had brown spots on it when I got him. I have been using Springtime products as long as I can remember. For 20 some years, I have also been part of a number of geriatric dog rescues. Although I am no longer formally involved, Longevity and your canine joint products remain an important part for my own personal elder pooches daily regimen. I wish I had known about them when I started rescue!
Sam, my rescued yellow Lab, came from a horrific situation (owner surrender-neglect) in April 2011. The vets deemed him a 1 on a scale of 1-10 with little chance of survival mostly because of his malnutrition (42 lbs) and his age. His physical issues included: severe emaciation, mysterious wounds, rotten teeth, hip/leg issues, lack of muscle mass, and within two months of intake, bloat (which almost killed him). His coat/hair was like straw where it covered his body, and his stomach and nose had no hair on it at all (see pictures). His head was sunken, and you could see every rib and his spine.
Sam's a miracle dog surviving all odds. He weighs 64 lbs now! I can attest that the combination of love, quality food and Springtime products helped in making a difference! One of the standard products he consumes is Longevity which has not only helped him retain mobility, but has helped his coat and overall body weight as well as his fickle digestion. During his rehab, all of his hair/fur fell out and has grown back soft and beautiful. Sam eats small meals three times a day, and each meal he gets two scoops of Longevity.
Sam is now technically a failed foster, and will live out his life with me. I have truly enjoyed every minute with this special dog. I love him to death and because of your products, which have been a life saver for my boy... I know that his life and quality for however long he's here with me is much improved as a result!

He was losing weight fast (despite being fed almost 3000 calories a day) and his general health was failing. I didn't want to lose him near the holidays and started to research products that may help me improve his health. I've often wondered if my dogs like the taste of Longevity, or if they simply like the mix of meats, fruit, and vegetables with their kibble. No need to wonder anymore! A picture speaks a thousand words!
Axel and Layla don't typically get in the trash, but to my surprise, I came home to find the bin opened with only one disturbed item. The canister had been closed, and you can see the effort involved in opening it to clean out every last bit! Ringing endorsement!

I just want to update you on my use of Longevity in my cats. I can't get the "full" dose in them because it becomes too strong in their food. Of my three cats it plays out like this:
Mythril: This 12 year old girl doesn't really care for it but if I don't put more than a good pinch in her food she's fine. She is twelve and her normally matte-finish coat is actually getting shiny!
Noah: My 12 year old Rumpy Manx boy was showing signs of increasing discomfort in his hips which prompted me to try your product on the felines. He gets a rounded ½ teaspoonful every day and doesn't mind it a bit. (He'd eat a shingle if I put it in his bowl!) He seems to be more comfortable in the back end and his coat is glossing up.
Guinness: He is two years old and wild as can be. When I first got my shipment of Longevity I opened one container and put it on the floor. We walked over, took a couple of tastes and seemed to like it. He is a picky eater and I have to add warm water to his food to make "gravy" because he leaves the solids behind after he licks them dry. The Longevity (known as green powder at my house) actually seems to make him more interested in his food. His already soft coat has gotten softer and is getting even shinier.
In my opinion, this is a great product. It worked for my old Aussie, Sydney, who was the original user of Longevity in our house. He had degenerative arthritis in his spine and Longevity made his senior years much more comfortable. I even used it in combination with the medications he had from the vet. It seems to be doing wonderful things for my cats too! I'm very grateful.

I just wanted to thank you for the amazing products you have. I was at my wits end with my two little Chihuahuas. Living in Florida, it was a losing battle trying to fight the fleas. I stopped taking them to the doggie park because they would get infested every time. I tried the cloves, baby oil and alcohol home remedy for fleas, (which I hated because of the smell and it changed the white coat of my dog to an ugly brown). I tried bathing them with the 'original' blue Dawn. That would work until it was time for them to go into the back yard to do their duty. So, I was getting the flea pills from my vet at $18.00 per pill and they were supposed to work up to three months at a time. Before the month was up they would be scratching and biting themselves like little maniacs.
We have a big back yard with lots of trees and bushes. There are two, stray, flea-infested cats that keep jumping the fence into my back yard. So, it's a losing battle trying to keep my dogs from getting infested. It got so bad that they were scratching and biting the hair off their skin. They had big, bald patches of skin where their fur had ceased to grow. It was heartbreaking.
My sister (who lives in Wisconsin) mentioned your company while on the phone. She said her dogs were thriving on your products. After taking down the information, I immediately ordered the Bug Off Garlic Chewables and the Skin & Coat Oil. I can't believe the difference. Within weeks the fleas were completely gone and they grew back the fur on the bald patches. It's incredible! I never thought it would grow back again.

First, I want to say that I was a little concerned about using it for the goats because we drink the milk. I thought it would have a garlicky taste. Well, to my surprise, it does not have the least little bit of garlic flavor! Even better, my girls (and boys) love it! I first gave it to them free choice alongside their minerals, just so they could get used to the smell and taste. Then I started adding it to their feed to make sure everyone gets some. I bought the Bug Off Garlic for horses and use about a tsp. per 60 pounds.
I haven't had any problems with flies biting them. The numbers of flies in the barn have been drastically reduced to the point that I thought they actually hadn't really arrived yet until I talked to a friend who said otherwise (I then recommended Bug Off Garlic to her!). I usually also have mosquitoes because we have a lot of woods and they are constantly landing on my goats and biting. Not this year!
I found one dead tick so far on one of the goats. I haven't found any ticks or fleas on Molly, which is just amazing to me because we are in a wooded area and in previous years, I have picked ticks off her daily. We also get chigger mites on both the goats and Molly, and I haven't seen any at all on them this year either.
In regard to the goats, I'm noticing how silky their fur is becoming in the adults. All the babies have always been born with very soft fur but it never stayed that way, I just thought that was the way it was. Now all my adults' coarse fur is becoming smooth and silky. I could really go on and on.
Every goat I sold this year has gone home with a recommendation for Bug Off Garlic and a catalog. I really think people need to know that goats can benefit from this too, not just horses and dogs. Thanks so much for this awesome product.

Rocky was a rescue puppy - a yellow Lab/Golden Retriever with who knows what else mixed in. Our son Josh had just turned 6 years old and this was his first dog, and he was in love with this crazy, hopping fluff ball. We took Rocky to the Vet and had his hips x-rayed to determine why he was hopping and not running or jumping. The vet showed us the x-rays that our puppy's hips were going in and out of joint and thus he was not able to run and jump.
We also had another problem we were very concerned with, and that was that the dog was nice one minute and snapped at Josh the next. Also, we love dogs and have a gentle touch, but we were unable to train this dog. We suspected lead poisoning, because we had caught him playing with some old lead-paint boards in an old garage ion our rented property. That's when a Springtime Inc. magazine showed up in our mailbox. We decided to try the Bug Off Garlic Chewables to help detox the dog with the natural selenium that is found in garlic. We also took the plunge and ordered the Longevity in hopes that it might help his hips get stronger.
I can't tell you exactly how long it took for the Bug Off Garlic Chewables detox to work, because I was just surviving a nipping dog and a crying kid that thought his puppy didn't love him. And, oh boy, had I ever forgotten how much work a puppy is! I was exhausted cleaning up all the time, because the dog was untrainable for ANY command. He would even stand in his water dish and seem to not even realize it. My husband and I have had dogs all our lives and we were dumbfounded, but again this was our son's first dog so we were doing everything we could think of. And, oh boy, had I ever forgotten how much work a puppy is! I was exhausted cleaning up all the time, because the dog was untrainable for ANY command. He would even stand in his water dish and seem to not even realize it. My husband and I have had dogs all our lives and we were dumbfounded, but again this was our son's first dog so we were doing everything we could think of. Then like magic, the dog stopped biting and gained some sense, and, no more mess in the house!
Also, we didn't have fleas. Our neighbor had cats and dogs all over the place, and we were concerned about all the fleas. Well, summer came and summer went and we had no fleas and we did not use any topical or medicine.
Rocky turned 1 year old that March. The snow was mostly melted and we let Rocky out to get some spring air. This year's Nationals presented some challenging conditions for folks competing in Obedience and Rally. Our rings were under cover, but the sides were open and the flooring in our building was concrete covered with dirt that had previously been used in livestock stalls with ALL the usual smells and byproducts of stabling animals. But the biggest distraction for most dogs was the FLIES. They were EVERYWHERE - landing on the equipment, buzzing around dogs as they worked, and being a horrible nuisance that caused many normally excellent performing dogs to fail exercises they usually aced under other conditions.
In talking to other handlers after the first couple of pre-trials, I noticed my dogs were not being pestered by all those flies. Flies just plain avoided us - they buzzed around me, but my dogs never had one land on their faces, ears, or anywhere. Other handlers tried using all sorts of fly and bug sprays (which seriously interfered with the utility dogs that had to use their noses for the scent discrimination exercises) but they gave no perceptible relief from the fly attacks. It dawned on me why my dogs weren't bothered by the flies at all - they have been eating the Bug Off Garlic Granules for years as a deterrent to the ticks we always seem to find on our walks along the Chattahoochee River National Park. I'd never dreamed Bug Off Garlic Granules would mean the difference between earning placements in our sports, versus non-qualifying scores due to obnoxious flies bothering dogs as they tried to do their jobs. Also, with the intense amount of jumping in the top levels of Utility Obedience, Spooky developed back muscle cramps when he was around 7 years old. The tablets worked GREAT, but were really expensive. I noticed the DMG 5,600 for horses in the Springtime catalog, and brought it to his attention - and he suggested giving it a try. One container of DMG for horses has lasted me for more than two years. I believe I have seen DMG tablets advertised on various web sites - but nothing compares to the economics of that whopper horse-sized container in your catalog!

I no longer have to use chemicals on any of my dogs and I am loving it.
It took me a bit longer to start my horses on the Bug Off Garlic but in January 2015, I bit the bullet and put them on it. I did not have to spray them one time for flies last summer. Both are healthier because of it. Recently we purchased two miniature mares, one which is pregnant. Both were immediately started on the Bug Off Garlic and I am hopeful the foal will have enough garlic in his/her system to keep flies off.

Okay, it is time to write my story. I should have written a while ago because my dog has done so well with your products! This is Hugo, my 6 year old, 125 lb. American Bulldog.
Shortly after he turned 4 years old he tore knee cartilage in the dog park. I took him to the vet where he was x-rayed and put on a strong anti-inflammatory. The vet recommended a $3,000.00 operation with no guarantees. Huh? What does that mean? It means that he may have to stay on the drugs after the operation for a long period of time. Wow! I was in shock. This dog was hobbled, couldn't walk, wouldn't eat. I wasn't sure what I should do. The price of the operation, the on-going drugs, the liver tests, the post-operative care for a dog of that size? I even had thoughts of putting him down! It was very sad.
Anyway, I declined the operation, used up the medication I had, and took it real easy for a while. Then I started your Springtime products! Day after day, week after week, he just kept getting better and better! And now, and for a very long time, he's been just fine! No operation, no drugs!
He runs around, goes for long walks, jumps up on the couch, rolls on his back kicking all four legs in the air – he does everything a dig should be doing! His fur is so soft and he never scratches or chews himself! Everything seems to work so well together. My boyfriend has a Maltese mix called Squeaky, who had a bad rear leg. He told me his vet said a lot of small dogs have a limp like that and it's just something they live with (Huh??!!). Since I've had previous experience with Fresh Factors, I told my boyfriend that I knew how to help his dog.

We live in a heavily wooded area in Northern Minnesota where ticks are in abundance each summer. I started giving Belle, my rescued shelter girl, Bug Off Garlic Chewables two years ago. While the neighbors complain about tick infestation, Belle has had only 4 or 5 ticks per season. I keep her on Bug Off Garlic Chewables all year with minimum dosage in the winter. I plan to start increasing the dosage earlier next year. I know that will make all the difference. Belle is very grateful to Springtime – and so am I!

I bought Longevity to feed to my three Border Collies, ages 15, 7 and 2. I'll admit my old guy Britt wouldn't eat his food with it mixed in, but I figured out how to disguise it enough that he now gets a full scoop.
Britt recently had his routine, old-man bloodwork run and to the vet's surprise, his liver levels were normal! For 10 years, his levels have been slightly elevated (nothing crazy, but high enough that he's been on medication for it for a few years). Also, since the summer, his mobility had decreased due to spondylosis. We got him a wheelchair in October, which helped so much in enabling him to walk without falling over. Two weeks ago, I had him outside without his wheelchair (he can stand just fine) and to my surprise, he took a few steps! Then the day of the 2016 blizzard, we walked across our porch! Our pet sitter asked me if I changed his meds, because Britt now walks for her outside as well. The only thing that is new or different in Britt's life is Longevity. I'm ordering more today!

We started her on the usual liver meds, but we had a terrible time getting her to eat and her ALT was not coming down much.
I started to cook and feed her liver to see if that would help. Knowing many of your products have desiccated liver in them I searched through your catalog and came upon the Longevity powder. So I ordered a tub and started her on that as well. I showed the product to my vet and she said "there isn't an ingredient in there that I don't like." Plus, she liked the high liver content.
Gradually her ALT came back to normal. I attribute her responding so well and healing to your Longevity product. It helped cleanse her liver of the toxins and helped it to heal.
I periodically feed Longevity to all my dogs just to help cleanse their systems from any toxins that may build up. Lizzie is healthy and alive today and going strong at 10 years old.

Dear Springtime, I have used both Longevity and C-Complex with great success with my older dogs who have since passed away. I wanted to let you know that I have referred so many of my clients from the dog grooming shop where I work. One client used it with great success: Her dog's coat grew out, was no longer dull and sparse, and it became full and soft. My experience with my dog Roxy (12 years old) made a me a believer that your products really work. She had a thyroid condition, and even though her coat was recovering with the help of medicine, it still didn't quite grow. But when I added your supplements, it made her coat blossom. I wanted to provide some feedback. About 6 weeks ago, I ordered your Fresh Factors and Joint Health Chewables (the Combo) for our 11 year old greyhound, Bella, whom we have had for 6 years.
In that time, she has always had bald thighs; maybe a little fringe of fuzz in the winter but nothing more. Now, after approximately five weeks on Fresh Factors, Bella's hair is completely grown in on her thighs and is soft as can be.
The Joint Health Chewables has also made a big difference. She was on another supplement previously and we didn't feel that it was making much of a difference. Now Bella has healthy energy and is obviously feeling better - even our regular dog-sitter asked what had changed because she was much more bouncy and energetic.
We recently brought home a second greyhound, Kirby, who had only been off the track for 6 weeks. He came to us with red, scabby patches on his chest and thighs and dry skin. In less than two weeks after starting Fresh Factors, Kirby's skin is now soft and healthy and he has stopped scratching at himself.

She was diagnosed with severe arthritis in her back and hips and was administered a shot of pain meds and given two types of opioid medication that she would be on for the rest of her life.
We took our little zombie home and proceeded to tell some of our friends about the experience. One of them shared that a friend of theirs raises and hunts Beagles and uses Fresh Factors to keep the dogs in top health for several additional years of hunting beyond the norm. We knew that being drugged for the rest of her life was not a good option for our Pepper, so we decided to order some and give it a try with the thought that "it couldn't hurt."
We got the Fresh Factors two days later and gave her a double dose. We have continued with that dosage ever since and she is back to her alert and happy self. I can take her for walks again, and she exhibits some of her puppy antics from days gone by. She still does her "skippy" thing with her hind leg every so often, but doesn't fall on her face or trip like she had been. Her coat has become softer and shedding is at a minimum--I wish we had known about this product when she was young. She is a happy pup again, and we are so grateful for this wonderful product. We have told everyone we know (and also people we do not know, but who have dogs) about Fresh Factors. Thank you for giving us our girl back!

We got the Fresh Factors two days later and gave her a double dose. We have continued with that dosage ever since and she is back to her alert and happy self. I can take her for walks again, and she exhibits some of her puppy antics from days gone by. She still does her "skippy" thing with her hind leg every so often, but doesn't fall on her face or trip like she had been. Her coat has become softer and shedding is at a minimum--I wish we had known about this product when she was young. She is a happy pup again, and we are so grateful for this wonderful product. We have told everyone we know (and also people we do not know, but who have dogs) about Fresh Factors. Thank you for giving us our girl back!

Despite his age and size, Sherman still manages to keep up with our newest pack members, Brigid and Bee, two Labrador mixes who are now six but run around like pups. Even our cat, Wilbur, like Fresh Factors!

My husband likes how it helped heal his injured shoulder and decreases his recovery time when he overdoes it. 9/01/2015 Several years ago I wrote to you about my dog, Sonny, and our positive experience with Longevity (he's the Golden Beagle on your site). He lived to a good strong 15 years and that fatty tumor never grew large again.
Well, this afternoon we noticed a large fatty tumor growing under the front leg of my beautiful boy, Luke, a Collie/Golden mix. Due to its location and hair, I couldn't see it before. He is going to the doctor on Thursday to confirm, but I am fairly certain that it is just a fatty tumor since he just had major bloodwork that came back great.
I'm bummed about it, but I told my husband that I know the first thing I'm going to try – Longevity! I'm going to order it this evening and we'll see if we can shrink this monster like we did for Sonny. I will keep you updated.
9/28/2015 It is benign – a fatty lipoma under the muscle at the front of his chest and armpit. It is packed in there and larger than a baseball. Both the vet and I were shocked that we both had missed it for so long, but it is sort of hidden under his five inch long fur on his chest.
I started him on Longevity, Fresh Factors and a capsule of Turmeric morning and night. We are still ramping up to the full dose of Longevity. And, after only three weeks, even my husband admits the tumor is shrinking. I can get my hand around about 60% of the tumor and I can feel the chest bone now. I am going to stick with this protocol. Ideally, it will go away, but I could be very happy with a 50% reduction.
5/26/16 Just thought I would update you on Luke's progress. We have continued with the Longevity plus Turmeric daily and his fatty tumor is about 30% of its original size. The vet was amazed when she saw him, especially since he put on some weight over the winter months. I wish I could get a photo, but he is so hairy and the tumor is actually under the muscle (which is why it got so big before we found it). We are going to continue his routine. The vet agrees that as long as we control the size, we can avoid the costs and risks of surgery. Longevitywas well worth it for us – again!

I have to let you know that my daughter's dog, Lola, an eight year old white Boxer, was having uncontrollable urinary problems. My daughter, Alicia, kept taking Lola to the vet. The vet told her that Lola had a urinary tract infection, so, of course, after many visits and hundreds of dollars later the dog was given medicine for the problem. My daughter said it helped, but it was also not good for Lola's liver!
My daughter, Alicia, soon grew tired of this, because even with the medicine, Lola still urinated uncontrollably but not as often. So, my daughter knows that I use your products for my dogs, so she called Springtime. They told her to use the Longevity. Alicia did that, and her dog no longer has problems with the urinating. And, no more medicine, no more expensive vet visits, etc. Amazing results!
The Longevity has helped to cure the problem of Lola's uncontrollable urinary problems much better and much safer than any medicine my daughter picked up from the vet.

Louie, our 10 ½ year old Lab/Beagle mix, has been on both of your products for over nine years, ever since some wonderful woman told me about Springtime while we were visiting one of our local National Parks. I wish I could thank her, and, if this gets to print, I hope she reads this story – I am so very grateful for her sharing your amazing products!
She had seen that Louie was gimpy – walking mostly on three legs, resulting from a broken hind leg by a previous owner. He was 10 months old when we adopted him in the nick of time from the Humane Society. He was scheduled to be euthanized, as no one wanted him with a lame leg. However, within months of beginning Fresh Factors, Louie could run and would smile while doing so. It was our good fortune to be able to adopt Louie as he has been a great pup with a wonderful, sweet disposition.

Fresh Factors for Malnourished Rescue Pup: "In just two weeks, I couldn't believe the improvement!"
Dear Springtime,
I have a rescue Pitbull/Boxer mix that I got when he was only 4 weeks old and on death's door. The woman that I got him from was headed for the dumpster with this puppy in the box she was holding, saying he wasn't worth the time anyway. I couldn't let this happen, obviously, so I scooped him up and did my best to save his life that he hadn't even begun to live yet.
I work in my local animal rescue as a foster coordinator, so working with sick puppies is nothing out of the norm for me. I started treating this puppy for his severe parasite infestation, muscle development issues, and skeletal problems. We almost lost him many times. My plan was to get him better and then find him a forever home through the rescue I work at, but he took so much work to keep alive that he ended up winning us over with his amazing spirit, infectious smile, and will to live! We named him Banks.
When I first started treating Banks, he had intestinal parasites that were so bad that he had very thin, patchy hair, he could hardly walk, and his belly was so very bloated. Since the parasitical worms were taking all of his much needed nutrients, Banks' glucose crashed many times due to anemia and hypoglycemia. I decided I had to give him some sort of supplement in addition to the food he was on to really set him up for success.
I started feeding Banks your Fresh Factors when he turned about 6 weeks old and could finally eat solid food. I started with the maximum dose because I knew he needed anything he could get to help him. In just two weeks, I couldn't believe the improvement! His hair started growing back and he finally started gaining appropriate weight and muscle mass--no more rounded belly! To my amazement, we discovered Banks has a beautiful dark brindle coat, something we could never tell because his coat was in such bad shape when we first got him. He now had energy like never before and was finally starting to act like a real puppy. I cried tears of joy.
At about 3 months old, he was being his new-and-improved normal self and running around being a farm puppy, having the time of his life. Being a tenacious, strong willed pup, Banks started chasing the horse and donkeys we have on the property. Somewhere in the midst of this chaos, he was trampled by one of the equines, crushing his shoulder. I was so angry and worried for him - we had just gotten him to be a normal puppy and there he goes getting himself trampled! Thankfully, he had no severe bone breaks, but he now walked with a limp. After all the work I put into him, I could not stand for him to be limping for the rest of his life. Enter Joint Health Chewables. Again, two weeks of the maximum dose and he was back to himself! No limp whatsoever! I was in awe.
Now, Banks is 3 years old and gets 2 Fresh Factors and 2 Joint Health Chewables daily (and he adores both...which is amazing since he is NOT a fan of most treats). He goes on hikes with me with no limping, and his coat has never looked better. Banks has never been healthier! He never gets sick (and he is exposed to many illnesses weekly), and everyone comments on how his coat is so soft and shiny and how his feet seem to be attached to springs!

Well, they tried your Fresh Factors. Not long after, he was feeling better and moving around better, getting up off the floor easier, eating more. All in all, Rusty's health was noticeably improving.
Fast-forward a few months and here he is a photo of Rusty now. Hard to believe this is the same dog, now rolling around on the ground, tail wagging.
Since then, my sister has bought them for her dog and noticed his dry skin and itchiness reduced drastically. We've taken to calling them miracle pills, and I'm about to start my 5-year-old Greyhound on them because I want him to live a long and healthy life!

I hope that you had a good festive season and whisking you a lovely year ahead. It is time for some updates which I'll hope that you'll be happy. Franky has been doing good and is always improving with Stress Free Calmplex®. Jake On the other is doing a fine job!
3 months ago he couldn't walk, climb on stairs, and couldn't stand on his 4 paws for more than a minute. His back legs were very weak that he his body would just drop down on the floor. We had to skip going out with him as he couldn't make it at all. And in a field he wasn't able to step on, as as soon he stepped on a soft surface he wouldn't have enough force to move his hind legs. I had to lift him up the stairs too for weeks as he couldn't do so alone! Now Jake after 3 months of [the Combo] is able to walk, climb the stairs all by himself, walk on soil, doing the walks again, stand on his 4 paws as much as he likes, and he even runs in his own way ! Bless him he just turned 11years in the 3rd January.
We really recommended your products, we are over the moon to see our boys having a better life.
