Dear Springtime,
About a year ago, Herman, a nine year old Shepherd/Lab mix, developed a torn ligament in his left leg. He was able to walk on only his front and rear right side legs. The vet said he would probably tear the ligament in his right leg as well and suggested an operation that would have cost well over $3,000.00. There was a slim chance that it would heal on its own after many months. It was a chance we decided to take. Sure enough, the second rear leg was affected and he was totally unable to climb stairs or move any distance. We carried him, not an easy task with a dog that weighs over 50 lbs.
We purchased the prescribed medicine and started dosing him. Our grandmother suggested Springtime's Joint Health Chewables which she had used for many years with several dogs so we decided to give it a try. It is now a year later and Herman's recovery is almost total. He has been off the prescription medicine for two months and takes two Joint Health Chews daily. He runs, climbs stairs, jumps on the bed, and except for a slight weakness in his rear legs, he is back to normal. Most importantly, he is happy.

My 14 year old Collie's hips had become so bad that going through the doggie door was out of the question and she couldn't even handle the four inch step into the house without her hips giving out and collapsing. Callie rarely left her bed, and when she did it would take her several minutes to stand up or we had to pick up her back end to assist her to standing position. Within a week of giving her Joint Health Chewables she was getting up with more ease, totally unassisted and was more active. After a couple of weeks, Callie was using the doggie door again and soon was running around chasing squirrels and playing like she did five years ago. Her hips still give out occasionally when she is running and makes a sharp turn, but she is enjoying life again.
I must say, I was more than a bit skeptical when reading the reviews of miraculous seeming improvements but am now so happy to be writing one myself.

Like many service dog handlers, my disabilities (epilepsy, a brain tumor, PTSD and spinal injuries) severely limit my income. However, I do not want this to affect the health and performance of my service dog, Mandi. She has a very sensitive system and is allergic to most grains. He has had skin problems since he was a puppy; blotchy, very red skin on his belly and inner thighs, and incessant scratching. He had been itching constantly and developed scabs along his lower spine and the base of his tail. I am so grateful I found your product and grateful my pup has been given relief. His belly and the insides of his thighs have also begun to clear up from chronic redness and itchiness. Enclosed is a picture of Best In Show Grand Ch. Maric's Truth Be Told. When I got him as a puppy he was not growing the hair I wanted, and he was chewing the hair off his tail. I saw one of your catalogs and decided to order the Omega 3-6-9.
I started him on it and when his breeder took him to show him, she had to thin his coat. He got several Group Placements and a Best In Show under a judge not known to like Toy dogs. He got as high as #5 in All Breed Showing and #18 in Breed competition for 2011.
I got my friend to use it when she was having coat problems on her Papillon. She ended up being the #2 Papillon Bitch for 2011.

We have a 6 1/2 year old German Shepherd, Kasha, with immune mediated liver disease. She was on steroids for about four years until we recently were able to wean her off of them. However, the damage was already done. She had severe arthritis in her legs and back.

So when my eight-year-old Norwegian Elkhound, Birka, recently started barking at the foot of the stairway and didn't want to come up the stairs, I knew it was time to supplement. In the past, she took the stairs with leaps and bounds, and had always been a very active dog.

This is our big boy, Max. He is five. But since he has been one years old he has suffered terribly from allergies. We tried a couple of vets, shots, allergy testing, new foods, home made foods (mostly "raw") - anything to save him from pure misery. Latest was steroids...it was a nightmare, as he had infections and mange that would not heal. His entire immune function was gone! I prayed and cried for him. He was sad and hid from us. As if to say "I'm miserable, don't touch me!"

She was telling them to get some supplements to keep their dogs' joints healthy. Josh and I adopted Jax on July 7, 2013 from Wisconsin Rottweiler Rescue in Madison, WI. In the few short months that we have had Jax he has been an amazing addition to our family. He does so well with all of our nieces and nephews and they all can't wait to see him when he visits or when they visit us.

The budget was pretty tight and I didn't reorder until now (bad dog mom!). Within a few weeks of stopping their "goodies," both of my dogs started shedding heavier (I have Siberian Huskies – so that's a BIG deal!) and have gone back to their former itchy selves. It's not quite as bad as it was before because I am feeding an ultra-high quality dog food now, but the difference in them when they are on your products versus being off your products is very significant. They still have beautiful coats when off, but they also have less shine.
I am sold, and I won't let them run out again!

I want to thank you for making a wonderful product. My wife and I have a 15 ½ year old Chow Chow named Peekaboo. A little over two years ago her veterinarian thought she had just a few days to live. She had stopped eating for over a week and after some x-rays he told us that it looked as though she had stomach cancer. She was vomiting and passing blood. Things looked really bad for our girl. We had tried so many different things trying to get her to eat with no success.

She acted like a puppy last summer when we took her to the Bighorn Mountains for a week. There is nothing like seeing your very old dog enjoy life like she did in her younger years. I don't know how much more time she has, but I know for a fact that Fresh Factors has given us nearly 2 ½ quality years we almost didn't have.
You folks make products that give so much more than you know. The extra time we've had with Peekaboo is something we will cherish forever!

I wanted you to know that after 20 years, I'm still a Springtime friend and customer. I've told so many people about Springtime, and I'm so proud of your products.
I have attached a picture of George, my sweet boy. Isn't he the best? He's a gorgeous 5 yr old brindle and white Bulldog, and has always been so very healthy. He has been on Fresh Factors, Joint Health Chewables, and Bug Off Garlic Chewables since they were each 10 weeks old.

Thank you! I was just at the Humane Society getting our 11 year old black Lab/Border's blood sugars checked (he's been diabetic and on insulin for two years.) Our life time Vet can't believe how well Shadow is doing, as he has not gone blind and is really thriving -- it's the Fresh Factors. While there, I also recommended it to a woman with a dog she'd just adopted who had a leg that had been broken and set twice. I shared with her that our Humane Society adopted "lame-legged" Louie is completely fine, with no leg problems and runs like a pup-champ with a smile!
